went to the LFS yesterday and just going to browse 
and they had a rtc about 8". the guy working in the fish room was a real piece of work! he told me that he hoped i had a big tank cause that thing would be like 5lbs when it grows up!! 
i nearly p****d my pants.
by the looks of it it had a slight case of pop eye and was beginning to get gill curl and was very pale. so i talked to the manager (my gf went to hs with her) i asked whats the lowest price she'd give me for that fish. the lowest she'd go was $20. so i argued with her for another five min telling her that it ws sick and if they did sell it that it would probably die or be released.... she finally caved then told me i could have it!!
afterward she said "i hate it when someone knows more about somethin than i do". i told her its ok shes woman!
got him in the ol' 55 until his gil curl and pop eye gets better then in the pool with Big Papa! I had a 5" minnow that somehow wound up on the floor in front of the tank! i've had it for several months with no probs so i know the rtc's is adjusting just fine

the deep end is 10' and the pool is 15'x30'
