i seen an ad if 5 ppl sign up to the same ad you can get a prize free.. has anyone done this. is it real or just a hoax to get ppl to sign up to a bunch of crap? i signed so here is my referall..http://www.get5friends.com/?r=2673 ..

They are not a hoax but you have to read the fine print. What ever you have to sign up for you have to go through with. Like the ones that say pick two offers you have to complete those offers. Also the 5 people you refer have to as well. So basically you are just signing 6 people up for a loan or credit card or online school. You will get your prize they did it in a magazine some while ago I forgot which one it is in.
I think anything you don't have to work for or put some effort into is either a scam, or more likely, something that's not worth it in the end.
The companies that do this, there are at least 2, get paid for getting people to sign up for stuff, the one you are talking about is the worst because you have to recruit at least five people to sign up for at least 2 offers each, the other one it is just you, for the lesser prizes you can enlist into things like a dvd of the month club or a Blockbusters rental plan, to get the better prizes you sign up for a different calling plan or credit card, that type of thing. If you are going to do that anyway then why not get the freebies but if not I would not do it.
