Description:
I am switching my focus species for my tank. If anyone has interest in a large summer flounder for their display tank please let me know. I have had this guy for about a year. He is simply too large for my tank.​

Size is going to be the biggest issue. This one I had planned to raise and tag and release. The car I was planning to use to transport it back to the deep died so that is no longer an option. This species is very resilient. It feeds on chopped squid, clams, shrimp, pretty much any prey item around 2 inches. I feed frozen prey items only. It is currently around 14 to 16 inches I would guess. If you check YouTube for summer flounder stealing you can see the fish. It gets along well with most tank mates and although it burrows under the sand it is usually left alone. I would not put small fish in with it as it will destroy large shrimp and crabs. As long as you have a good skimmer it would be fine.
 
If anyone wants this fish please let me know ASAP. I will be tagging it soon and once healed I should have a ride to release it soon. I am located near Reading, PA.
