FREE to a good home! 2+ Foot Alligator Gar

An old employee of ours got this gar somehow a few years ago and since it's grown significantly - to the point that our 180 gallon tank is really too small for it and the fish is obviously unhappy. WE'd love to just find it a good home and at this point are willing to give him to a good home or rescue or aquarium for free. While we'd be happy to try to pack him up in a cooler and deliver him within an hour of where our store is in Kennett Square, PA, we ask that if anyone else wants him, you be the one to make and pay for all arrangements for transportation.

as you are so close to their native range is there any reason you can do it a favour and release him/her?

You never want to release any fish kept in captivity whether it’s native or not because you could spread diseases. Also it’s illegal.
