Thank you but I want what's best for him. I am not Monster enough. Let this be a lesson to other monster keepers. Read the stickies and know the adult size of a Silver, over 36 inches. I would be sadder if he busted my tank lid and jumped out and died having only lived a year. He has never killed a tankmate although he has started just recently nipping at the CK's when they eat his shrimp. He has also taken the gars snout in his mouth trying to take the shrimp from him with no harm to the gar. A gentle giant but a giant nevertheless.
 
Beautiful fish! Im sorry to see him go but atleast you are doing whats best for it.
 
Thanks, Are there any MFK members near Mobile, Alabama? We are the home to giant alligator gars so that should count for something.
 
That aro is huge!!!!!! Wait, did you say he is only 1 year old?!?!?! I wish I had the appropriate home for him.
