Freeing up my 55gallon

Ok so tomorrow my one of my 55gallon tanks will be freed up, I'm taking the 2 large oscars in it to the LFS since they said they had room for em and I feel bad that they've lived in a 55 all their life together (got them and the tank free not my doing).

So now to the real problem. Ill have a free 55 gallon and I gotta find what to stock in it. Thinking mixed African Cichlids, or maybe some nice looking smaller fish and just a ton of em? I'm open to all ideas

i had africans for a while but they really bored me, you could make that in to a cool planted tank with some schools of tetras and angelfish maybe, maybe a couple smaller cichlid species

I would def try a planted bichir tank, w/congo tetras as dither fish.

+1 on planted Bichir tank. Add a variety of amazon swords, throw in a couple of polys senegal, palmas polli, retropinnis, ect.. add some ctenopoma, congo tetras.
