What is the general opinion of FD baby shrimp and bloodworms? This is what I've been feeding all small dats except the campbelli. All get occasional live fish I've bred from African and convict cichlid fry. What's the word from all of you guys? What should I try changing?

My campbelli (and indo) recently starting chowing on frozen krill...........they will not come to the surface for the fd stuff ( i tried soaking but that stinks...really!!).......try frozen you might be surprised..........i am haapy as heck as i was getting fed up buying stupid feeders!!!!!:)

freeze dried shrimp is great. All small dats can be weened on to this. It still has lots of protein and will help with color. The fd bloodworms is a different story. Its so skinny that it turns to ash. I cant imagine the fish really filling up on it or really getting any nutrition from it. I would rather use frozen bloodworms, at least its vitamin enriched and with color enhancers. You should also try freeze dried ocean plankton. It has more protien than the shrimp and is small sized perfect for young dats
