I hatch my own from Sera packet mixes, but the principal is the same... I use a bunch of ice cube trays and a large plastic syringe with 6" of airline tubing on the end. Suck up the bbs with the syringe and half fill each cube compartment with the live shrimp & brine mix. Then suck up some freshwater (u can take it out of your tank) and top up with that. The fresh water helps it freeze. Pop the trays in the freezer and your done!
I freeze all my bbs within 12 hours of hatching for maximum freshness.
Then u have ready made sterile portions of highly nutritious food for your fry!
The great thing about this method is that it's real easy to get your portions right and helps prevent overfeeding.
I've been doing this for about a month and my Platy fry love it. Pop a cube in the tank and they go nuts. It also cuts down on waste as, unless you've got a LOT of fry, you usually end up with too much bbs and they're hard to keep alive for more than a couple of days unless you've got a special set up to do so and feed them etc.
Hope this helps and good luck.
Please note, if you can't be sure of the source of the brine, strain the shrimp through a paper coffee filter, wash it out into a jug with fresh, clean water and freeze from there.
That should help avoid introducing nasty bacteria into your tank from the brine, although the freezing effect should help cut that down anyway.
