Hey
I have a green terror that I think I'm going to have to euthanise. I've read that this can be done by putting the fish in a container and freezing it. This kind of seems a little inhumane, but it also seems to be pretty common. can anyone confirm whether this could cause the fish any further discomfort?
Thanks
Steve

I would think it's not too comfortable. I'm sure ice crystals form in their gills before they die. Just use clove oil first. It'll put him to sleep and they you can freeze him.

Either use clove oil or the IMO most humane method.

Very hard bonk on the head and then a cut to the heart.
