alright.. the last week my frempongi has been doing some weird twitching and biting the water all while hovering over a cave in my 240 gallon. this cave is in the middle of my tank and the frempongi has all of my other tank mates hanging out on one side of the tank. (my P. loisellei has the other side claimed) the only fish the frempongi will let out of the corner is the p bass. they have been hanging out the whole time. the pbass has actually done some wierd thing around the cave too. kind of like swam up and flicked him self off of it a few times.
i saw it but i never really expected anything. today i came home to find the cave coverd in eggs. and the frempongi close above them!
almost all of them are an orange/ tan and there are some white eggs lightly
ok that is the good news, the bad news is that two days ago my some of my fish started to show ich
i have the temp up and i am treating the tank with kordons rid ich.
i plan on moving the eggs into there own tank tonight and i am wondering is it ok to put them in clean water from another tank. they are just eggs..... so they don't need to be acclimated?! is that right?
any other help would be appreciated
