I know probably most of you could give a rats *** less about the french elections, as do I, BUT.....kinda hits close to home with our up coming election.....Because

The Socialist Chick running got CRUSHED by a Conservative Guy. The first pro american French President in many a years. Says he wants to restore a friendship and an allied relationship with the good ol' US of A!!!!

France, the Socialist Standard in the world, just elected a conservative Guy over a Socialist Woman....by a landslide.

I wonder if this will cause the left to shift more interest to Obama for their main man in 2008?

france is not such bad place i've been a few times and always enjoyed it, the french people for the most part are ok but the people who ran it for a long time just sucked so bad.
they made france so alienated from the other world powers, maybe things will change and they wont be up their own backsides and kissing the farmers asses by giving then crap loads of UK money to keep them in line.
