Fresh and salt Vac. help

Hello everyone. This must have been asked before but i was just wondering if you can use the same gravel vac. on both fresh water and salt water tanks?? or does salt water need its own vac. with hoses so i don't get salt in my fresh water tanks.

i have just purchased and little 20gal for a salt water mantis shrimp
and i am new to the whole salt water thing.

just rinse your vac after you use it and you will be fine...

its a good idea to rinse it anyway just to keep tank water from going funky inbetween uses...

Are you using live sand in the saltwater setup?
