Hi everyone. Pretty much i am looking for your opinon(s) on what i could pick up from like the price chopper seafood section to feed to my Chocolate and Dempseys that would be beneficial to their growth and overall a good food for them as something different than pellets. Also something thats not horribly expensive. Thank you.
Fresh or Frozen Seafood??

I buy loads of frozen prawns, mussels and white fish fillets for my fish and turtles. All I do for my freshwater fish is defrost the food under a running coldwater tap. This removes as much of the iodine as possible which is obviously alien to freshwater fish and can be harmful
Frozen is cheaper if you buy in bulk. Scallops, shrimp, clams, and white fish all sink in my tanks. With krill it is hit or miss.
I buy the frozen raw shrimp from price chopper , keep it in a zip lock baggie and pull some out when needed put it in a bowl o cold water to defrost then cut it into bite sized pieces for my lil homies
