fresh shrimps. and anything else?

i started feeding my fish fresh shrimp! i can get a bag ( of small shrimps ) for 2 buxs. so every month, ill be buying shrimp for my fish. anything else i should look into?

I've heard of people feeding prawns, beef heart, and silversides. Never personally fed any of these but will when my fish get a little bigger. I've had good luck with good ol' earthworms.

Why not just breed them instead of buying them?

Be careful and only feed what they eat. People use raw shrimp to cycle tanks............

you're going to breed frozen market shrimp that you'd get in the frozen food or seafood section at your local grocery store?
