Well, I think I have finally decided to go reef with my 250 gallon, the only thing that scares me is that it is acrylic and salt creep and live rock will scratch, but it is worth it to see such a huge reef set up. That means I will be selling my 4 pbass of course, my 17 inch TSN, 15 inch Spotted Gar, 13 inch BGK, 14 inch Silver aro so look for these coming up in the buy and sell thread. I am turning my 125 glass into a fish only salt also, cause my shark is going to get big. Anyone else here bailed out of fresh to go all salt or reef?

I didn't bail out of freshwater to go saltwater, I bought more tanks so I could keep the freshwater and still be able to do the reef.:naughty:

I wouldn't worry about salt creep on a acrylic tank just gotta be careful cleaning it,

once i am moved my 240 ray tank will become my reef. and my rays will go in a pond.

my 240 is also acrylic

but as for your 125 i would use that as your sump/fuge for your 250 :D and scratch the FOWLR

It all started with a nano for me and that was it i was hooked!

i cannot wait to get my 240 as a REEF. besides its to small for my rays anyways :D :headbang2

i will be putting it in the wall in my basement and the fish room will be behind it.

Well I have a massive refugium for the filtration so I dont need the 125 for that, plus I have a lion , banded shark and a wrass now so I need them to go into the 125. Also I have 8 tanks running in the house now and its getting to be too difficult moving one fish to another tank because of size growth and compatibility. My main concern besides salt creep is having a rock fall and gouge the acrylic.
