Heading up to the mainland soon, just wondering where are the awesome fresh water aquariums around San Diego? I don't really care for saltwater ones since I'm surrounded by them

Sea world has an okay freshwater area. Rumor has it they are going to get rid of it soon. If you go to the San Diego Zoo they have a 10,000 gallon tank/pond with crocs and African cichlids.
Other then that I can't think of any cool big freshwater tanks. There are a few fish stores that are cool, Petkingdom in sports arena area, Aqutic warehouse in Claremont to name a few. Have fun
