Honestly, I'm not sure. I've been looking for crabs, shrimp, and crayfish to add to my fw aquarium. The only crabs I've even seen are fiddler craps. But i think they need a spot out of the water and require aquarium salt also.
There are fully aquatic dwarf crabs that have just recently reached the hobby. They're smaller than a dime and can be kept in nano setups.
A true mini is the micro spider crab (Limnopilos naiyanetri). You can fit a few on a dime. This is a hair algae grazer that can be kept as you would CRS. They're safe with small fish.

those are really cool, I might want to add some to my nano planted tank if I can get my hands on some, but you mentioned that they're relatively new to the hobby so it'll probably take a while before I see some online for a really cheap price.
