freshwater yes ! but brackish is better..Ive seen one sold at one of my LMFS

That is a stone fish/ stargazer lookalike..blackish water fish..slightly poisonous..ugly but cute..

I dont know for sure but going buy their record I vote yes they are illegal in Cali almost everything is there

they are legal.
At least, i assume so. Most lfs around me have them.

thanx guys... i found this guy in petsolutions.com... go there.. its aight.. going to order one... hahahha... gonna be around 50 bucks but its all good.. its an oddball fish to me..
