I have a somewhat large tank a 150gal. I allways ceap my tank mint cond glass wood and
interior. I get alot of trafic at my house, And alwas get asket ,"Is that a salt water tank",
NO ITS NOT. So I have started to bye NOT LIVE/ BUT FAKE coral and it looks pritty cool,I think. Any body elts do this befor, I will try to get pic and post here.:)
 
Ya it sounds funny, I have jet black gravil, with a gloss black background. I have some ground cover" live plants " a sward plant and drift wood . I rely think it looks OK.Its actuly pritty cool.The best part is, the next person's who ask me is that salt water."MFK Dark Style " YA

More misspellings in that post than grains of sand on the Earth. LOL. I no longer put shells and coral in any tank because it doesn't look natural.
 
Yeah, I'm also a fan of a more natural look. I did use to keep some coral fragments in one of my tanks when I bred Tanganyikans. I tried to keep them hidden as much as possible though.
 
YA im very very very very very very very bad at spelling and I do not like to take the time to spell check. My piranha ate the fake coral/only the pecis that glowed in the dark.
