painting the inside of a used hood I just could and was wondering what paints are good to use for this. feel free to move if there is a better spot.

I didn't paint the inside of my hoods, but if you were going to, a thick exterior paint would probably be a good choice. They're water proof, help seal up holes, etc. I had a wood project (not fish related) that I wanted a nice thick paint that I could slather on to smooth out joints, and I think I used stuff that's intended to paint garage floors. It ended up being the cheapest stuff, and it worked well.
