1 RTC 9 inches
1 Clown KNife 10 inches
ok so i just picked up my new tank filled it with water, all is good (except for the capfull of rubbing alchohol spilled in the tank.....by the way is that enough to do damage?)
anyways i was wondering how long it will take to cycle?
i have the other tank still going (60 gal) and the bacteria is already stable in that tank.
i took some of the sponges from my other set up and stuck them in the filter of thie new tank to help it come along.
should i take the filter off the already est tank completely (leaving it without a filter) and move the fish in tonight?
if any is there any other way of transfering bacteria from one tankl to another? besides what ive already done?
one more thing, my filtration is 2 Aqua Tech HOB filters (30-60g each)
an odyssea powerhead ex350
a 10 gal HOB generic filter (i know retarded but hey every little bit helps, plus i just use it for a bacteria colony)
oh yea i forgot a "Dolphin DP2000" (powerhead on steroids!)
so im getting about 3010 gph turnover, which should be more than sufficient.
can i use big rocks (not too big but silver dollor-golf ball size) be ok instead of gravel, because my dolphin pump bloxs the gravel all over the tank.
thx in advance!
