I have a small 5.5 gal Freshwater tank, It has gravel, some Christmas moss, a shelter, I have 4 juvi Convicts, and a juvi crayfish. Before anybody mentions it I know the current tank is to small, but my friend gave me the fish or else he was going to use them for food and I figured better alive than dead. I want to get a fish or invert for my tank that I can breed, and hopefully get some money for so I can get a new tank, I would get rid of the convicts and crayfish if neccesary. What fish do you recommend?

Thanks,
Matt

If your asking what fish you could breed in a 5.5G tank, then the answer is honestly, i don't think any... even as a fry grow out tank it would probably not last long unfortunately.....

You could possibly do a killifish species... Still wouldn't feel comfortable on a 5 gallon. Your best bet for fun and to make a little cash is to do some fancy FW shrimp, like red crystal.

^ Might be hard to keep parameters in check + temps correct on such a small tank, and since Crystal Red's like most expensive shrimp can be a REAL P.I.T.A to keep alive, might be tricky... although definitely not impossible...
