In search of Leiarius
I am having trouble finding any. I am looking for ones that stay under 4.5 feet in length yet stay bigger than 1 foot in length, and can live in temps of 71f-82f.

I just remebered the african arowana is a filter feeder any others?

Wow, what a niche to explore. Paddlefish get too big, right? I don't know what else there is! Best of luck on this quest.

Yah thanks everyone. Yah it seems that the ones you know all get to big for me or like it too cold.

I have been using fish base. It seemssome tilapia type cichlids filter feed but stay to small.

I am still loking, and any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Mainly looking for those filter feeders that have detritus in their diet along with phytoplankton and zooplankton. But Detritus at 50% or more of their diet.

Oreochromis niloticus niloticus might be what Iam looking for.

I will continue my search tomorrow. I am tired and sick, so stay in good health and good night.

Tilapia are to aggresive, but would make great breeders for feeder fish.
