Hi, I've recently added a 30g sump to my 100 gallon freshwater tank. I was using a canister filter before and I'd like to switch it over to my 60 gallon asap. Currently I have both the sump and canister running at the same time and was wondering how long you guys think I should wait for the bacteria to grow in the sump before removing the canister? Its a wet/dry trickle setup, 700gph.

If your 100 gallon is already seasoned, you should be able to move the canister immediately. I would just refrain from any large water changes (50% or more) for a couple weeks. Just so regular small water changes while the new media seeds.
Just add (all or some of) the media from the canister to the sump... or run them together for a couple of weeks.
