Nah, Jd_man had his in fw untill 13" and it died when he tried to transport it to someplace. they can do fine in full fresh.
 
I think that the one that I had was rare...I haven't heard of too many other people having luck keeping them in fw.

These are awesome fish. One of my biggest regrets was getting rid of my mangrove.

I think that shipping would kill me, but it sure doesn't take long for them to get up to 12"...and it would look really cool with my 22" jar...if they could tolerate each other.
 
I think if any fish could live with a jar it would be a snapper, I dropped in a whole shrimp and damn, it was nuts There still ripping it apart :).

As of now, I think This thread should be closed, I'm gona keep them and hopefully see what happens, but if need be I can divide them when the time comes. But Jd_man If your ever down in fl, or im up there, I'll be sure to bring u 1.

Works for me. :thumbsup: I'll be in Daytona next year...my Dad has a house down there.
