hi, i was just wondering if you could grow mangrove plants in freshwater aquariums, because i always thought they where for brackish and saltwater aquariums but on ebay they say you can use them in either (or is that just so they sell more of them)?

THANKS.

Hello
I'm the one selling them on here and yes, they can be in FW, but they will grow slower.
You ask if there's anything you can "supplement" - YES - Salt lol... But yeah, they're very flexible when it comes to water. Just give them good light and they'll take off.

Oscar,
They would not be destroyed by fish, actually. They have a very tough stem and very tough roots - they aren't like aquatic plants that are torn apart. You could definitely try some.

Hey Oscar - PM me anytime bro

PM'd you
