He's already in brackish, SG 1.012. I gave the thread that name because that's what these guys are always sold as.

Him and the smaller eel both feed on sardine and squid pieces, and occasionally get some live fish as well.
 
Nice. I suck at taking still pictures of my fish. How did you get such excellent stills? Nice eel btw. I enjoy feeding my eels crayfish. One year I believe one was gravid with eggs!

You should post some full tank shots of his tank! What size are you keeping him in?

I believe that if you lower the salinity to freshwater moray eels can become gravid.

Lots and lots of patience and practive :D But also, if you can get sufficient lighting for each shot (either with a good light in the tank or with overhead flash), the job of taking of photos is much easier.

I'll try to snap some shots of the tank, right now my camera battery is dead :irked:
Anyway, the tank is a 60 gallon. He hardly uses the space.
