Hey y'all, I need some opinions...

I have a 75G on the way...with all the goods. except for fish.
I have done some research on some tankmates, but im still not sure what to get.
I am fairly new to "monster fish"
I have a 10" oscar waiting in a 20 gal. holding tank, until this new tank arrives. he has HITH, so im trying to help treat that, he seems to be doing better already.
I found a few fish that I really like and I would like you to tell me what I could get and what I couldnt get. AND also reccommend come to me. okay, here i go.
- Wolffish
-marble goby (already HAD one. lost it when it choked on a pleco. :( )
-more oscars?
-?peacock bass?
-bichirs ( LOVE EM!)
-catfish ( MUST HAVE ) need your help picking one.
-arowana
-clown loach ( not very monster, but I love em! ) >.<
-jack dempseys
-and I need an algae eater of some kind <- important

well, those are my ideas so far...
please, let me know what you all think, I trust you guys!
I just really want something awesome to look at all day, that eats like a )V(ONSTER

definitly no peacock bass, why is it important for you to have an algae eater/ pleco? the bio load they put out compared to what they clean doesnt really make them beneficial

I like e'm >.<
haha
out of curiosity, would a sabertooth payara, or sabertooth barracuda get along with my big oscar? I found some that are ~4"

Hey, I did some research on my own. haha,
I tried talking to a guy that sells freshwater moray eels, and tea cup stingrays, and the payaras. He said he didnt know if they would all get along with an oscar. and said I should check in with people like you all who might have experience.
I am also interested in some likd of bichir. I have fallen in love with them, they are SO cool. what would be the smallest bichir to keep with a 10" oscar? its hard to come by big ones.
also one last thing. I found some catfis I really like, and need to know if they would get along, once again. the ones I found were...
tiger shovel nose, and one with a name I cant remember, but it has a crooked nose, that is bent vertically. they both look like fun catfish to keep, and they dont get too big.
thank you all for your help, I really do appreciate it. and I will try to give help back to the people who help me out!

In my humble opinion everything you've listed specifically as a possibility will either be far too large for a 75g, or eat/be eaten by the oscar. Look into Lima Shovelnose cats. That's probably you're best bet as far as size, it may be tough to get one big enough to handle a 10" O at first though.
Really the Oscar alone in a 75 will be pretty well stocked as far as bio-load. But hey if you have awesome filters and don't mind constant water changes, there's something out there that will work.

TSN get to be 3-4ft, not sure what you were told.

 thats an amazing fish. I think I will get a lima, although they arent as pretty, they still act cool. and I think I will catch a smallish blue catfish out of the river, and keep that too. <- done that before. any more reccommendations???
thanks!!!

I looked at wolffish yesterday, and they just looked a little boring. they sat there, and didnt even look exciting when the store fed them. since im building a monster tank, I decided to get a red-tail. I asked a lot of trusted aquarium managers, and even saw somebody with a MFK T-shirt walking around, at Ricks. The guy said that it would do fine in a 75 for up to a year. by then I plan on having my 550 gallon tank finished. Rick said that a 550 would be plenty big, considering the turn around space. as far as any other fish, I think I might get a niger catfish, a CK, and possibly a chain pickeral from a fish farm. if any of you have any opinions, please let me know, I am still looking for a food recipe also. cant find one I like. I would like one that has crustacean, to bring out the red in the catfish. as of now, he is about...3 inches long, and is in a 38G guppy tank, cleaning up a little bit, and enjoying every second of it. dont forget to tell your wife, happy mothers day. hahaha
