Freshwater Sawfish

Has any one kept or know any one to keep fresh water sawfish?

Or is it a crazy think to think of?

don't think they're real freshwater fish, they need salt otherwise they won't live long...

Given that they can grow to 7m in length, perhaps not the best aquarium fish even if they could survive in full freshwater.

arent thry extremely rare in like china pretty sure they are thought to b extint. The river they live in got damned and the last one seen was in the 90

That would be the Chinese Paddlefish, Psephurus gladius.

the sawfish is pristis sp.

there are several species, including a landlocked one that stays around 36" or so. and the salt water ones that reach more than 10 feet in length.
