Freshwater Stingray

Hey guys, just wanna know how you stingray keepers wash your tank with a stingray in it? i mean isn't it dangerous??won't it attack you with its poisonous and painful barb??

No real danger unless ur aggravating your stingray alot. Stingrays dnt attack the barb is a mean of defense...u can pet ur ray most of the time with the prop knowledge on how to... But u clean it jus like a regular tank...jus watch out for barbs burried in the sand...jus treat the rays with respect and ur fine! Hope dis helps

Agree, eventually will get stung but not because fish being aggressive, but because of own fault, eg, distracted and not paying attention, or being stupid and not dignifying fish, or panicking and forgetting to show proper respect for fish, etc.

No lie I always wondered the same thing. Like ive been wanting a ray for a while but my wife is scared I might get stung so she dont want one.
