Never happened to me. My Peacock Bass on the other hand...:irked:

ya back when snake heads were legal in the us I had one that jumped 2wise. Once i was in the room and was able to put him back in. He hit that hood so hard the noise made me jump right off the seat... And the other time I came home and found him bone dry on the carpet.... Luckily they have advanced swim bladders, I put him back in and he sunk to the bottom, but within minute he shook him self off and was fine... To bad arrows don't last so long out of water... Keep an eye on him and put some waits on the cover!

happened to me 2 days ago during feeding time. they jus get so excited sometimes. i used a bag to snatch it up n toss it back in. n back to eating it went! lol

Handled like a true fish keeper! glad to worked out....

Wow. Glad you were there to save him. Thanks for sharing. I now have some plastic bags and old tshirt next to my tank. :)

wow .. thank goodness he is okay... he was just overly anxious to eat... they can definitly give you a terrible scare.. no one realizes the fish in the tank looks even bigger and more powerful flapping on the floor..frightening!! Good thing you were able to hold on to it until you got it back in the tank..other wise it could have been another fall.. :nilly:

That sucks.....but in is inevitable

I was freaking out looking for a towel.
she had it back in the tank before I could find one

Sounds like Nicole is just as Monster as the rest of us. I've met her, and she has more "balls" than many of us!

Hazard of the hobby.
I keep 2 large nets under my tank, 1 for the head, 1 for the tail.
