Where the Parachromis roam...
I have the chance to pick up a 6" freddy today at 4:00pm,i have never owned one and would love to have one as i am a huge Parachromis fan.My concern is will this Freddy be able to hang with my 7"Jag,4"Dovii and 3"Umbee it is a 125 gal tank(upgrade this spring to a 300-400 indoor pond). These will be the only 4 fish in the tank.I will introduce all fish together after i change the landscape around.Your advice is appreciated.P.S. my jag has been a wuss ever since i got him.:headbang2

Keep a watchfull eye on them...

Do you have a spare tank to relocate in case of need?

I would say no,and the rest will need to be separated eventually also.sorry
The best chance you have is load the tank with decor and wood and caves etc to enable the fish to hide and run

At those sizes the Fredrichsthalli could def hang with those fish, however I'm not so sure long term. Freddy's can be very aggressive!!! Mine is the most aggressive fish I own... I will post a pic.

The fredy will take over that tank. And depends on him if he's a terrorizer. If he's not, then it would work for the mean time if every things ok with the others.

That Freddy should be ok, but all fish and tanks are different. Good luck but don't be too surprised if some of the fish get beat up. Have an evacuation plan ready just in case.

If you can wait til you get the indoor pond...get him then.

The fish belongs to my friend and he is getting out of the hobby,so it is do or dont,i took the freddy,he is in a 20 gal long for the nite i am going to try and introduce all the fish tommorrow (so i have a whole day to watch them).I will also post pics tommorrow.
