Okay so after about a month in the 55gal alone i decided to put my Rd back in the 90gal along with my texas to see if it would work out. The deal i had for a 150gal fell through but for right now these two are both acting pretty personable and thriving together. Some of you guys may remember when i first got the RD he beat the hell out of the texas now all is well.

Wow, that is great. Hopefully it stays that way for you.

yeah i dont think they will be able to be housed in that size tank, you could also try better decorations, the deco you have in your tank is for very small fish, try getting some driftwood or something where you can set up caves on opposite sides of the tank that they can actually swim in and out of, maybe if they have better defined territories they may be able to stay together for a little while longer, also is that a red texas or flowerhorn or something? doesnt really look like a pure cyano or carpintis to me for some reason, if thats the case then it wont be able to have tankmates anyways because they are much more aggressive than either of the pure species

Yeah, I would definitely say that it's not working based on your video. Your Tex is going to hurt or kill your RD before too long. Are there any other fish in the tank with them?

yup

Yeah that RD wont let that tex be king of the tank. Maybee if the RD was bigger you would be ok.
And this is definatly some sort of carpintis cross. Maybee a flowerhorn or red tex parents.

Leatherface is about 2 years old now and Mike Myers, im not sure about. I got him about 2 months ago. When I first put him in the tank he ran things and really beat the Tex up. I removed him and placed him in a 55 alone then after about 3 weeks I put him back in the 90 and it's a total different story. Looking to get maybe a 150gal or larger but the wife is already *****ing cause I have a 55gal also. When I had my mayan in the 90 with the tex things were okay. I put him in the 55 to grow a lil cause he is only around 3" or so. Since finding this site I have learned a plethora of info from you guys and appreciate all the advice. And looking at some of the other pics I do think leatherface may be some sort of x. I do love that fish he is awesome. Follows me when I come in the room and has even bit my finger a few times during feeding.
