Ok guess its story time. To start with my buddy sypher had just got his 80 gal. tank and hooked me up with his 55. I saw my 115 in the paper and got it. One of the pics in my gallery shows it before the monsters came home. In a nutshell thats how I got started. I see this add in the paper,"for sale: 55 gal. tank and 2 14" clown knifefish,75$." I thought cool,syper could have the 55 and I got the fish,sounds fair. So I send him to Reno(62 miles away) with money and cooler in tow.I was having a boring day at work and my cell phone rings he tells me that I wasnt going to belive the size of these fish and the cooler he took was to small. Actually I thought he was crazy so the following weekend we took of with a trout net and larger cooler for transport. Before we left I thought it might be wise to move my fish into the 115 just in case his assesment of their size was correct. Well we walk into this guys house and sitting on the floor was a 55 gal. with 2 knifes in it, not the 14" ones the add had stated but 2 monsters that measured 23 and 24 inches. I was in awe, I new my 115 was pushing it but it was much better than what they were in and if I didnt get them who knows what would have happened to them. A couple hours later they arrive home with me, it was amazing to look at them. Not amazing was there first reaction to their new home, I thought the tops of my tank was going to shatter. About two days later I realized they didnt like all the stuff in the tank so EVERYTHING came out. Having these two wonderful fish was truly amazing and I do miss them very much but I dont miss the food bill. Well hope my story wasn't to long and that all enjoyed it.
