Hey everyone. I'm sorry to be bothering you with another one of these threads, but I'm having a really hard time making up my mind and I value all of your oppinions.

I have a 120 gallon tank with Lambchop, my cobra pike and two catfish. I feel I have room for another cichlid, but I don't know what to get.
Here are my thoughts:
Motaguense
Red Terror (Female)
Green Terror
I was also wondering if I might be able to get away with two of these species, such as a pair of Motags, or a red and green terror. I can always mix and match later, but I just don't want to be too overstocked. Lambchop has always been pretty tolerant of tankmates, so hopefully aggression won't be an issue.

Just curious - you say Lambchop has been pretty tolerant of tankmates... does this mean you've had him with other cichlids? If so, where are they now?

That's a good sized tank for a cichlid that has been living alone, so if you re-arrange the tank (to disorient Lambchop) you should be able to add a couple of the others without too much trouble.

Yes, lambchop has lived with some severums, some convicts, and a jack dempsey. I sold the severums and Cons. I have the JD in a seperate tank waiting to be sold. As much as I like all those cichlids, I am looking for something a little less common. When you say add a couple others, what does that mean?

Well, if he has been with severums and convicts and the like, he sounds pretty mellow indeed. When I said " a couple others" I think that if you got just one other fish, the two would constantly be sparring with one another, as opposed to the aggression being smoothed out around the corners between specimens.

Does that mean I can get two of the fish I mentioned? Like a female Red Terror and a Motag? Out of the fish mentioned, which combination would work the best?
