So I recently decided that I needed a tank on my desk, so I got a 10 gallon. I decided to go without a heater, so the tank will sit around 18-20 Celsius in winter.

Time for plants!
We've got Thin Val, Giant Val, Java Moss, Java Fern (Needle leaf and Windelov), Pygmy Chain sword and Queensland Lace plants, as well as Spider plants, Basil, Pothos, Parlour Palm and water celery growing out the top, and azolla floating aroundIMG_3230.JPG

No too sure on stocking. I have some Orange finned danio juvies that might go in soon.
Maybe along the lines of
Honey blue eyes, Panda Corys, Orange finned danios or CPDs and maybe a borneo loach

I would go with a dwarf puffer, maybe a dwarf red eye. If it’s gonna be on your desk, why not have something that is more of a wetpet? Looks great BTW!

Thanks, It would almost be impossible to find a dwarf puffer other than pea puffers where I live, and still they cost an arm and a leg

Bit of an update,
I've slowly been adding in some juvenile Danio Kyathit in to the tank. It's been almost a week now since I set it up, (The filter has been in use for almost a year, and a lot of the plants and substrate are from established tanks), so I figured a small bioload like them would be fine. I'll add two more on Sun/Monday to complete my school. After that I'll add in a young Olive Perchlet, then lay off stocking for a while
