frog has a foggy eye

has it cleared yet? maybe it just scratched it's eye up against. How old it is? maybe it's caterac(sp?) where the eyes would get foggy looking with age.

it could be a number of things,,,if it is cataract theres nothing you can do just change he diet to slow it down in the other eye its probly just a scrathed lens, if so this will go in a few weeks
how old is he???
how big is he , (is he obese ??)
what are you feeding him ??
 
thnx for replying.. i rescued the frog from a supermarket, i have no clue how old but its about the size of a base ball, it is about one pound, it currently isnt eating, it seems the cornea is white and milky, also when i slightly squeeze it, clear goo comes out of its anus, is that normal? i put a live feeder goldfish with it, they don't seem to take interest in the fish. i only had it for about 2 days now.
 
not sure about the goo that might be stress,, but the eye definately sounds like cataract,, this can talk with experience as i have suffered with this my self and had to have my lens removed and replaced with a silicone inplant,,, any way sorry for going off on one ,, as m,a,c said if hes stressed he will not eat for about a week, just make sure you change hes warter twice a day,, as hes not eating hes immune system will be low,so keep hes pen as clean as you can ,, hope it all works out for you, keep us posted
