I'll be going to the store tomorrow to get him some stuff. he's so cute :P
 
Yep, it's a Spring Peeper. Easy way to tell is because it has an "X" pattern on the middle of it's back. Cool little guy. I hear them early every spring around my house.
 
Neat. I wouldnt keep him personally... They are FRAGILE. You could probably breathe on it too hard and break a bone.

If you keep him, its gonna be a pain in the butt to get small enough insects. Unless you have cricket colonies going for other herps, I dunno.
 
Awsome looking little guy but I agree with Loco, shouldnt keep him.
 
I too would release it. If it's perked up your interest in keeping frogs, then great, there are plenty of species captive bred and suited to the captive environment.
 
Just released the little guy. He wasn't eating anything I gave him, so i figured i'd let him go so he could go off and find his own food.... before he died not eating my food.. lol

i loved that little guy though :( sad to see him go.
 
Youll hear A LOT of him in spring ;)
