Frogbit with cichlids?

Is amazon frogbit cichlid-safe?
Will my current prevent the plant from thriving, I have 2,000 gph.
How fast will it spread over the surface of my 180 gallon tank? I have good lighting and sunlight occasionally reaches the tank.

I'm having luck with amazon swords and java fern, so I want to give frogbit a shot too.

Never mind, I'm getting it anyway because it's cheap, if it gets destroyed, not a big deal.

I'll let you know if it works...
