Frogfish Help Quick

Does anyone know if frogfish poison the water when they die? My old man died today and I am worried about his buddy.

All water parameters are normal. I think my Puffer is aware of wat just happened to his buddy. Now he is alone.

poison with ammonia and nitrites.. not like a boxfish or anything
