Greetings folks! It has been a long time in between posts, and feels great to be back.

I'm back into the hobby with a sweet find that I am having a hard time identifying. I picked up this little beauty about 5 months back and am wondering if anyone can help me nail down the exact species I have acquired.

She has been continually changing color as they tend to, and pics reflect that. She started out about 1/2" in size and has grown to the current length of 5" in that time, and has gone from bright red to purple, to green to the current red/yellow.

Any help would be appreciated and swim on!

I think it may be an A. commerson. It looks just like my old one which unfortunately died a couple weeks ago. I'm not an expert on it though, but I think that's what it is.

Edit: It may also be an A. pictus.

Thanks for all the help folks, it is the longlure in fact. Antennarius biocellatus, which as it turns out can even be found in freshwater! If only I still had my FW community I could watch some unexpected interactions. J/K
