Frogs

My local bait store has started selling frogs as bait. How do you fish with frogs?What fish would you catch?And how would you keep them alive?

Frogs are great bait. Any fish will eat a frog if given the chance. I prefer to hook them through the lips from the "chin" up through the nostrils. No weight or float. Just pitch em into a yummy spot and if no bite move on. Its easy to keep them alive. A bucket with a little water to keep them moist will be fine. Just make sure you dont let them get too hot or in direct sun.

If you kill them, they wont swim and splash around. Duh!

Yeah, frogs are great bait, they struggle a lot in the water and tend to catch the attention of lots of bass.

Same reason we use live minnows - dead bait just lies there

Frogs have too many developed nerve endings for my taste, so I choose not to use them. They do work though.
