How large is zooplankton?

The zooplankton I have is about the size of a period "." I also fed some phyto, just to be safe. It was noticeably catching the zoos.

I'd still go for a bit larger, meater foods.

AAAAHHHH! So which do I feed? I have phytoplankton and zooplankton

Phytoplankton will feed any tiny live crustaceans ('pods, mysid shrimp, etc) in your tank (which your frogspawn may then feed upon).

You could try feeding your frogspawn small foods such as frozen cyclopeeze to larger meaty foods like mysis shrimp. Some frogspawn corals are irresponsive to feeding and are sustained by the zooanthellae contained within them.

I think my zooplankton is made with cyclopeeze. If not, I I'll get some.

BTW, is Frogspawn actually considered a "coral"?

Yes it is. It's in the large polpy, stony (LPS) category, and is of the Euphyllia genus.

i've been feedin gmine some of the cyclop-eeze i feed my pipefish.. it's still kinda small, the skeletone is only the size of a quarter...

Cyclopeeze is a bit small--it needs larger, meaty foods, as listed above.

Between cyclopeez and mysis, mysis is indeed the way to go with this coral.

Ewurm, how's your frogspawn doing by the way and what have you been feeding it since your last post?
