i have a frogspawn coral in my 65 galon and my maroon clown does not like it for some reason and repeatedly smashes the coral up against the glass i have moved the frogspawn now but he is losing some of his heads every day is there anything i can do to save it? i dipped it in iodine solution and that seemed to work a little but will those heads ever come bak?

Yes they will eventually grow back if your water is good. I dont have a clue why your clown would be attacking it though.
Is your clown retarded?? LOL. I would suggest moving the coral to a breeder box for isolation to allow it's tissue to regenerate away from the bully. You can get them very small, or pretty large. They can be floaters, hang ons, or ones suspended by suction cups. If the coral is still relatively small (smaller than say a large softball) then you should have no problem finding a box to accomodate it. The boxes are vented so current and micro-food would still get to it, but the dork maroon wouldn't be able to. If you do that, make sure you do not place it in an area of direct intense lighting since being up higher could proove too much and burn it.
You mean put the coral at a lower level? Not, not necessarily, corals need strong lighting, but depending on the intensity you are running, placing them at the tippy top might burn them. I would suggest trying to find a breeder box that has suction cups attatched to the side so that you can place it in the middle against the glass. Your main focus, no matter how you go about it, is to remove the coral from the fish, or visa-versa until the coral can regenerate it's tissues. Keep it isolated long enough to allow it to heal and flourish once more before rejoining it with the fish.Don4921;675296; said:
I doubt that. Try removing it completely and placing it in a tank on it's own and giving it concentrated doses of supp. to encourage regeneration. If the damage was significant, and has caused the tissue to die and spread, I would suggest salvaging the undamaged parts by fragging your coral, and focusing on the healthy sections.Don4921;677791; said:
