My clown knife is no more then 4.5" long. I was feeding him small feeders, but ran out one night and decided to drop some hikari carnivore pellets his way, and he scooped it right up.

I read on a post that after about 8" you should try to feed pellets, but an another post said ASAP. Should I just keep with the pellets and not use live food?

I heard some can be really hard to break away from feeders.

The sooner the better with pellets. Feeders have no where near the nutrition of a quality pellet food and that's awesome he's already taking them!

Alright thanks guys, I was always worried about it, when it was time to switch to pellets, ive heard so much people having trouble with it, i guess i just got lucky lol.
Since the first time i fed him the pellets, he goes for them everytime now, within seconds.

He doesn't like bloodworms at all? That has been my main staple for a while, I just keep some quantities of feeders around more as a snack.
