i just moved out to new mexico and i desided to build my first pond and from all the research i did i made the biggest one i could in my back yard its a little more than 2000gallons and everything is working out good so far and i found this site while i was looking for the kinda of algae eaters i can put in it all year round i do have koi and goldfish in there now so any advice or tricks i can pick up to help would be nice ty

to mfk, there is lots of sweet ponds that other members have build here, in the forums under outdoor pond. im thinking of building one this spring.i did my pond myself its good to kill some time and you get a hell of a workout the digging and leveling is the hardest part but once you level the shelf its all down hill from there
