so i had a kelb and an orino in a 150 and the orino was clearly the over aggressive boss of the tank killing a 9" tarpon and attacking the kelb. some of you may know that i had to put my dorado in the tank with them while i was setting up a new 180gal. the dorado beat the orino up pretty bad and after a week of being in the new 180 he died due to stress because none of the injuries were really that bad.
so now i have a new 10" orino and a 9" azul in the 180 with my 10" kelb. the Kelb is now the boss and is slowly growing a humpty hump and has a cool horizontal black line, sorta like a forth black stripe going across his hump on his head. heres some pics.
its funny how you let a fish pay its dues dealing with an overly aggressive cichla and then move him and buy new cichla and now hes the boss. gotta love cichla
Heres some pictures hard to see the black line on his head but its there.
