my father has always bred discus and angelfish for as long as i can remember, he always had either a ceramic cone for the discus to lay eggs on... or a peice of slate on an angle for the angels to lay their eggs on. is there a particular surface or angle frontosa needs to lay their eggs on?? thanks

my kigomas like to lay their eggs in strawberry pots. it's a large clay pot with holes in the sides.
