I've got 10 1inch frontosa's. I was wondering if anybody had idea how long does it take them to grow? Can them reach 3 or 4 inches in 4 monthes?

Growth rate can vary with conditions and individual fish, but at 2 inches they're approximately 2 months old, 4 inches approximately 6,7 months, depending on conditions and individual fish. At one year you can get the larger males in a group to 6 inches, overall group at one year can be 4-6 inches, generally speaking, an occasional male a bit larger and some females a bit smaller. A ten inch male is probably 3 to 4 years old or older. Growth normally slows down after 3 years and slows way down after 5 years. Average max size for males can be 11-12 inches up to 14 inches, occasionally larger. On average, females are a few inches smaller, with occasional exceptions.

Results can vary, so all this is approximate, for some people they grow a good bit slower.
