i have had my frons for about 2 years, whitch puts the oldest at 4 years old(its a female). now on the 24 of may i saw here scoop up some eggs in here mouth. i know the male is of breeding age,5 yaers old from a different family. my problem is how do i know when to transfer her and will she hurt the fry in her mouth?also how would i transfer her.if she spits them out will the 12 other frons try and eat them?

Leave her in the tank. If you want to strip the fry from her, I'd scoop her out after 3 weeks of holding the eggs. then strip the fry and raise in a different tank. then throw he back in with the rest of the group to breed again.

but at 3 weeks wont the fry be too young?

they might. try 4-5 weeks.

how about when i net her ,do you think she will stress and hurt the fry? or is there a better way to do it?

Net her carefully. U will probbaly lose some in the process though.

you'll get good at it
after a few trys you will get it down pat.
i would use a very fine mesh net
like the blue discus nets
